How long will my machine take to arrive?
We dispatch machines Monday- Thursday. Once we have received your order and payment, we will dispatch your machine.
North Island deliveries please allow 4-6 working days
South Island deliveries please allow 5-7 working days.
(Please note that your dispatch day doesn’t count as the first day) Due to all orders being on a waitlist, these shipping time frames apply, only when we have allocated you a machine and it has arrived.
Will my machine be delivered on a Saturday?
No, your machine won’t be delivered on Saturdays as our freight company delivers Monday-Friday only.
Who is the freight company you use?
Our freight forwarder is Mainfreight and they deliver Nationwide.
What are my options for payment? Do you offer any payment plans?
Payment options are Credit Card and Direct Credit.
We do not offer any payment plans for the machines.
Can I pick my machine up?
Yes, you can collect your machine from Mainfreight Mount Maunganui. We will be in touch if this is your preferred collection method.
How big is the machine? Will it fit in my car?
If you are collecting a machine, we recommend a station wagon or SUV to pick up the machine. Generally, if you have a medium-sized car with seats that fold down you will be okay.
Do I have a warranty on the machine I purchase?

How do I claim a warranty?
If you have a factory malfunction with your machine please collect the serial number from your machine (located in-between the front legs on the back of the flywheel) and contact us so we can help. Please note that it is essential that you have your serial number.

What is the recommended maximum user weight for the machines?
BikeErg: 300Ib (136 kg)

What are the box dimensions of the machine?

How hard is the Model D to assemble?
All machines come with assembly instructions however, the Model D is a matter of attaching the front legs which require 8x screws.
Can I upgrade my monitor to a PM5 if I have an older machine?
Yes, if you have a Model D you can simply purchase a PM5 Monitor. Take off your old monitor and replace it with the new PM5.
If you have a Model C or Model B, you can buy retrofit kits that have all the required parts to assemble the new monitor.

Do I require electrical power for my machine to work?
No, all machines are powered by 2x D-Cell Batteries and do not require power to operate.
The Dynamic machine looks different, why is this?
The Dynamic Indoor Rower is to closely simulate the physics experienced while rowing a racing shell and the ‘dynamics’ between the boat and athlete. On the Dynamic Erg, a user’s body mass is relatively stationary while components of the machine actively move in response to the rowing motion.

Can I buy my hire machine at the end of the hire period?
No, all machines are an asset to our ErgHire company and are not for sale.

Can I pick my machine up?
Yes, our warehouse is located in Te Puna, Tauranga. If you are in the area you can collect your machine from us. If you did want to collect your machine, please call us so we can ensure your machine is ready for collection. If you live locally, we can make the machine up for you so that you don’t have to hold onto the box for return.
How big is the machine? Will it fit in my car?
If you are collecting a machine, we recommend a station wagon or SUV to pick up the machine. Generally, if you have a medium-sized car with seats that fold down you will be okay.
What happens on return if I don’t have my box that it arrived in?
All machines are stickered to notify you to keep your box, if it has been thrown away you will be required to pay for a replacement box and the freight to get it to you.
How do I return my rower at the end of the hire contract?
Please re-box your machine in the original packaging that it arrived in. Once this has been completed please contact us to arrange Mainfreight to come and collect your machine. We will need your full name, address to collect from, and the best contact phone number. All payments will stop from the day that you book your machine in.
I returned my machine but realised that I still had already paid for the monthly rental, can I get this refunded?
Yes, as long as you are outside your contract dates, we will refund the days that you no longer had the machine for but had paid for.
What happens if I don’t pay my monthly rental?
If you fall behind on your payment for any reason, we will get in touch with you to notify you. If we are unable to get a hold of you three consecutive times, we will send your contract to the debt collectors.
I have a new credit card number; how do I get this updated?
Please call our office so that we can get all details updated for you.

Who is your freight forwarder?
We use Mainfreight as our freight forwarder for all machines throughout the country.
CourierPost delivers all our machine parts.
What are my options for delivery?

How much does the freight cost?
Machine freight calculations are done at cost so you can get the best price to your delivery address. If you are a rural address the freight will be more expensive.
All parts have a flat rate, North Island is $11.67 + GST and South Island is $14.31 + GST.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes, you will be emailed a tracking number once your machine or parts has been dispatched as both Mainfreight and CourierPost will update you with the progress of your order and it moves throughout the country.
How do I arrange a date for it to be delivered?
Mainfreight will call the number you have provided to us when your machine is on a van and out for delivery.
Can the machine be left in a secure location on my property?
We ask that there is a signature on all machine drop off’s as we do appreciate that you have invested in a product and don’t want it left without permission.
All CourierPost orders don’t require a signature but please let us know if you would prefer to sign for the order.
How long will my machine take to arrive?
Machines please allow; North Island 4-6 working days, South Island 6-8 working days.
CourierPost please allow; North Island 1-2 working days, South Island 2-3 working days
Can I add special delivery notes?
Yes, if you have any special delivery notes please add this to your order before you checkout.
Will my machine get delivered on Saturday?
