To turn drag factor off, repeat the above sequence.
A brand new indoor rower will have a drag factor of about 90–100 at a damper setting of 1 and about 210–220 at a damper setting of 10.
Automatic Mode (Just Row):Use Automatic Mode when you want to do a workout without a preset distance or time. To use the Performance Monitor in Automatic Mode, simply start rowing. The PM will come on and begin displaying your workout data.
After your workout when you have stopped rowing, the PM will shut off after about four minutes of inactivity. You can also press On/Off to turn the PM off.
Setting Up a Time Interval Workout:
At any time during a preset distance or time workout, you can successively press Display until “PROJ” appears above your workout time or distance. This display shows your projected finish (time or distance) if you were to keep up your present pace.
Viewing Results:When viewing splits or intervals, you can also access additional information:

If the monitor continues to be unresponsive, it needs to be replaced with a new PM
Monitor Goes Blank:
Symptom: The entire Performance Monitor screen (not just heart rate display) goes blank when the heart rate cable is plugged in.
Resolution: This is generally caused by a short-circuit that occurs if the heart rate cable is plugged into the PM while the monitor is turned on. If the heart rate cable is still plugged into the PM:
If you removed the heart rate cable when the screen went blank:
We recommend plugging the heart rate cable in only when the PM is off.
Monitor Stays on Zero:Symptom: The Performance Monitor comes on but stays on zero when you begin rowing.
Resolution: The pickup wire may not be securely plugged in on the back of the monitor. Ensure the plug is inserted completely. If the plug is inserted completely and the problem persists, you may need to replace the pickup wire. Contact Concept2.
